Standing with Our Friends in Nepal

Dear Prince of Peace family,

Many of us have seen the heartbreaking news coming out of Nepal. For our Prince of Peace family, this tragedy hits especially close to home. Sowers Ministry, the organization Alex Lillis partnered with during her mission trips to Nepal in May 2025 and April 2026, has been serving communities in this region for the past 15 years. Their ministry works alongside 8 churches and 6 schools, including communities that have now been devastated. Three of the churches have been completely destroyed, and they are still working to locate children from five of the six schools.

Through Alex’s time in Nepal, these are more than places on a map—they are communities and people with whom she has worshiped with, served, baptized, and built relationships. We wanted to share a video and additional information from Sowers Ministry about what is happening and how they are responding.
