March 1 "Oh the Places You'll Go" Students can wear college apparel or vacation apparel to school.

March 2 "Sleep Book" Wear your favorite pair of pajamas and cozy up with a few good books!

March 5 District Choral Festival (Star Center Choir), 6:00pm at Badger HS

March 6 5th Grade Band Concert, 6:00pm at LGMS

March 8 EARLY RELEASE, 1:35pm

Late Night Parent Teacher Conferences, 4:00-7:30pm

March 11 Daylight Savings Time Begins: Spring Forward 1 hour

March 12 PTO Meeting 5:30-6:30pm

March 14 5th Grade Concert at Star Center, 6:00pm (Students arrive by 5:40pm)

March 15 Last Day for Co-Ed Volleyball Practice

We have a lot of music events happening
at Star Center in March! 
Here is what you need to know:


Monday, March 5th : Choir Fest at Badger High School -
Choir members arrive at 5:00PM, wear your uniform. 
Concert will start at 6:00PM, doors open at 5:45PM.

Tuesday, March 6th:  5th Grade Band Concert at LGMS -
Band members arrive at 5:30PM, wear your uniform. 
Concert will start at 6:00PM.

Wednesday, March 14th :
5th Grade Music Concert! 
Students need to arrive at their classroom at 5:40PM. Please Dress Nicely - Concert will begin at 6:00PM.

ONE MILLION WORD READERS!!!
Our First Millionaire!!
 Gage K. is in 4th grade and has read 1,000,000 words this year already! It's his 3rd year in a row! Great job, Gage!
Yuvia is our Second Millionaire! Yuvia is in 2nd grade and has read 1,000,000 words this year! Nice work!
Star Center celebrated
100 days of school!

Our 4K teachers aged a little over night and so did our first graders, Cassie and Delorian!

Carter in first grade wrote a letter about what life will be like when he is 100!

Just a reminder that you may NOT drop your student off before 8:15AM. There is no student supervision before that time.


We encourage all families to use our Drop Off zone located
at the back of Star Center.

Drop off begins at 8:15AM.

PICK-UP INFORMATION:

If you are picking up your child at the end of the day, please be sure to call the office at 262-348-7000 before 2:30pm to let us know.

YBASE - Before & After School Child Care For Lake Geneva Joint #1 Schools, provided by the Geneva Lakes Family YMCA
YBASE Before & School
Childcare Coming Next School Year!
We are excited to announce that Lake Geneva Schools has partnered with the Geneva Lakes Family YMCA to provide YBASE, a before and after school child care enrichment program for the 2017-2018 school year at Central Denison and Star Center Elementary Schools. YBASE is for children in grades 5K-5th grade who are enrolled at Central Denison, Eastview or Star Center. Registration opens May 1 at the YMCA (schools cannot process registration requests). Limited spots are available, so early registration is encouraged.
