Chicago, IL - Chicago Sinfonietta announces a star-studded lineup of hosts for its 36th annual gala, Soundscape. Leading the unforgettable evening will be Actress and Second City Alumna Claudia Michelle Wallace as Emcee, and as Presenters, Emmy-winning and nominated broadcast journalists Hosea Sanders, LeAnn Trotter, Matthew Rodrigues, and Courtney Hall, some of Chicago's most respected and innovative individuals in their fields.
Soundscape Emcee, Claudia Michelle Wallace is a native Chicagoan, and an alum of The Second City, Mainstage, where she performed in "Doors Open on the Right," and was an ensemble member in The Jeff Nominated shows, “Red Scare, Iraqtile Dysfunction," and "War, Now In Its Fourth Smash Year."
Soundscape Presenter, Hosea Sanders is an eighteen-time Emmy Award-winning broadcast journalist who serves as Entertainment Reporter and anchor at ABC 7 Chicago. He also plays a major role as a program host at Chicago’s top-rated television station.
Soundscape Presenter, LeeAnn Trotter is a feature reporter covering Arts and Culture and events happening around the Chicago area. She's also a regular contributor to NBC 5’s "Making a Difference" segments.
Soundscape Presenter, Matthew Rodrigues is the Emmy nominated host and has also produced NBC Chicago’s top-rated lifestyle show "Chicago Today." He also created, hosted, and Executive Produced the nationally distributed NBC interview series “It’s Ok to Ask Questions.”
Soundscape Presenter, Cortney Hall is the Emmy-nominated host of NBC Chicago’s lifestyle show "Chicago Today."

Soundscape guests will have the opportunity to mingle with renowned celebrities including Grammy award-winning artist, producer, composer, and CS Artist in Residence Peter CottonTale, influential members of the Chicago community and fellow art and music enthusiasts. The evening begins with a visually stunning cocktail reception featuring interactive installations, followed by a sumptuous emceed dinner and program with captivating performances, a live auction, and a spectacular orchestral showcase by Music Director Mei-Ann Chen and Chicago Sinfonietta. And after dinner, the festivities continue with an electrifying afterparty in the Fairmont Chicago, Millennium Park International Ballroom.
Renowned for championing diversity and inclusivity in classical music to promote fairness, equity, and strengthen community ties, the Gala supports the organization's numerous artistic and educational initiatives. The fundraising portion of the evening will be overseen by Soundscape's Fundraising Host and Professional Auctioneer, Scott Jones.
Strongly connected to the Chicago community, Chicago Sinfonietta is proud this year to honor Maria E. Wynne, Immediate Past CEO of Leadership Greater Chicago, at Soundscape with its Legacy Award.
