We not only search for the best MLS sales, we also advise people on what they need to take with them when they contest with the Collin County representative. Heard on the Street
Every month the top 10 agents in our Keller Williams office get together for lunch. We all share notes so it's a great way to learn what's going on in other areas we aren't quite as familiar with. Today we met and heard something interesting.

We all know Californians and New Yorkers are moving to Texas in droves. But they aren't the only ones buying. In fact, 25% of all home sales in North Texas are investment properties. Not only have home prices gone through the roof, so have lease rates.

One of our top producers told us he'd heard of two Homeowner Associations changing their bylaws to discourage leasing. They're charging a monthly fee of around $300 to limit the practice. I don't know if that's going to fly or it will be challenged, but we can understand both sides of the issue.

None of us want our neighborhoods full of lease homes yet the owners will be hurt if they can't get their homes leased. What do you think of this idea? Let us know [email protected] or [email protected]
