Spotlight Toastmasters Open House
Come check out Spotlight Toastmasters this Saturday morning from 10-noon and hear four wonderful speakers including a pair of guest speakers. Refreshments will be served for those able attend in-person.

Roxanne Spring is a retired Certified Nurse Midwife. She continues to raise consciousness to promote vibrancy as a Podcaster (MidWife After Hours) and speaker.
"TI & AI - An introduction to Yoodli" by Joni-Renee Laidlaw, DTM
Joni-Renee' Laidlaw has been a Toastmaster since 2019. She believes in the philosophies "work smarter not harder", and the "learn-by-doing" Toastmasters embodies. A digital nomad, She has taken advantage of the "new normal" to network and learn from Toastmasters around the world and has become a go-to for Hybrid and Zoom meeting queries. Her Distinguished Toastmasters project, "Logical Logistics Tech 4 TM" provided a practical guide to the digital landscape. She is currently working on her second DTM.

The Gavels clubs in the Bellevue, Bothell and Redmond are organizing an area contest. This is an international speech and evaluation contest.
The contest will be organized in 2 categories
- Age 12 and Under
- Age 13 and Above

Spotlight is a fun and diverse group that loves to experiment with new
technology and to create bleeding edge experiences, while providing
a welcoming and supportive environment.
We have a couple of leadership opportunities and are looking for our next leaders for 2023-24.
We currently meet between 10:00am - 11:30am every 1st and 3rd Saturday.
We have provided our members with the option to attend hybrid meetings (sans a hiatus during the pandemic) since 2017 being one of the first clubs in District 2 to do so and extended welcome to guests starting this fall.
We welcome you to consider visiting us online or in-person. If you join in-person, light refreshments will be served at each of our upcoming meetings below.

Everett Pacesetters: Develop your speaking skills in a warm, helpful, friendly environment. Whether novice speaker wanting to gain confidence or experienced communicator who would benefit from in-depth evaluations to help polish your skills, we have the resources you need. Our club is a 2022 President’s Distinguished Club and is honored to have five Distinguished Toastmasters who look forward to mentor, coach, and support your journey towards real success as a speaker and leader.
We invite you to join us at one of our online or hybrid meetings, whether to actively participate in a round of short takes on a topic of the week, or just to hang out and check us out. Everett Pacesetters meet on Thursdays, 6 to 7:30 PM PT. Meetings are held on Zoom every week with one to two of those weekly meetings offering a hybrid format for those seeking in-person meetings. The hybrid meetings are held at the downtown Everett Public Library Activity Room on the first floor. You will see firsthand that we support each other’s progress, work hard at developing our skills and most importantly, we love to have fun!
