The Mindfulness Walk - NOW OPEN!
The Mindfulness Walk is a new way to practice self-care and discover the benefits of being mindful while surrounded by nature. Located in Petros Lake Park, this one-mile walk features ten stations that promote relaxation, focus, awareness, and reflection. Examples include a zen sand garden, a musical instrument, stacking stones, and a labyrinth.
July is Minority Mental Health Month!
While the term ‘minority’ is traditionally associated with racial, ethnic, or cultural minorities, it also includes individuals from a wide-range of marginalized and underserved communities, including those who may identify as part of the LGBTQ+ spectrum, refugee and immigrant groups, religious groups, and others who are often overlooked. Mental health conditions do not discriminate based on race, color, gender or identity. Anyone can experience the challenges of mental illness regardless of their background.
School is out, but help is still available!
