Community Wellness Grant Award Winners
Congratulations to The First Tee Canton and Hannah's House 119, the winners of the StarkMHAR Community Wellness Grant! As part of an overall concentration on opportunities that have a positive impact on resiliency, especially among young people, StarkMHAR awarded $2,500 program grants to two local non-profit organizations. Funds that support these grants, as well as scholarships, are made possible by the StarkMHAR Charitable Fund.
Still time to celebrate Mental Health Month!
Mental health is essential to everyone’s overall health and well-being, and mental illnesses are common and treatable.
So much of what we do physically impacts us mentally – it’s important to pay attention to both your physical health and your mental health, which can help you achieve overall wellness and set you on a path to recovery.
