National Children’s Mental Health Awareness Day seeks to raise awareness about the importance of children’s mental health and to show that positive mental health is essential to a child’s healthy development from birth.

May 22: Stark County Coloring Day!
On May 22, bust stress, reduce stigma and think outside the lines about your mental health! Download the Stark County Coloring Day page and take it with you to your workplace, school or home. When you feel stress levels rising, take a break for some coloring. Share your art on Facebook with the hashtag: #StarkColoringDay.

Our keynote speaker will be Susan Tellone-McCoy, RN, MSN, CSN, Associate Director of the Mental Health Association (MHA) of Monmouth County, New Jersey. Between 2008-2012, she was involved in a suicide contagion. Susan will share on how they recovered and became a more resilient community. Plus, celebrate the recipients of the Crisis Intervention Team (CIT) Awards, HOPE Awards and Workforce Development Scholarship.

Who should attend: Business & community leaders, interested community members, service provider administrators, directors & leadership, health & human service provider leaders, System of Care partner leadership, medical professionals, elected officials and school personnel

Location: First Christian Church; 6900 Market Avenue N, North Canton, Ohio 44721.
Cost: $20.00 per person will cover registration and breakfast. PayPal is the preferred method of payment.
Education credits: CEUs pending for applicable sessions.
