Bobby enjoyed his downtime in Florida
where he spent his days getting sun on his back, grazing on plush green grass and taking multiple walks daily. The break paid off and his ultrasound on June 4th was clean!  Bobby is now in Saratoga, NY and will resume light training.  Please click here for recent pictures taken at Payton Training Center and follow him below on Facebook and Twitter for the latest updates!

Yearling Sales
Upcoming Activity:
The first yearling sale is just around corner on July 15th at Fasig-Tipton in Lexington, KY.  Selecting horses to join Starlight and StarLadies Racing is a collaboration spearheaded by our Bloodstock Agent, Frank Brothers.  Part science and part instinct informed by decades of experience, Frankie consistently does a masterful job of integrating the two concepts.  Described as "a jewel" and "one of the best in the business" by managing partner Donnie Lucarelli, please click here to read about Frankie's thought process when selecting horses to race under Starlight's blue and yellow silks.

Thoroughbred Aftercare Alliance (TAA):
Under the guidance of Jack Wolf and a diverse leadership team, the TAA has begun to fulfill its mission of helping retired Thoroughbreds as both an accrediting body for aftercare facilities and a fundraising body to support these facilities. Starlight Racing would like to congratulate the first three aftercare facilities to achieve TAA accreditation:  Florida Thoroughbred Retirement and Adoptive Care, New Vocations and Southern California Thoroughbred Rescue!
For more information on accreditation and supporting the
TAA, please visit
Hopefully TAA's leadership will help all of us become
guardians of our beautiful and deserving Thoroughbreds.
