Poured Out - A Self-Guided Good Friday Experience
April 2, 2021, 6:00-7:30 pm Outdoors at Crossroads
Available online and on the GOTGo app on April 2, 2021

This year we will offer our Good Friday experience both online and outdoors, in-person at Crossroads, weather permitting. This no contact, self-guided experience will allow us to remember six important moments during the last week of Jesus' life leading up to his crucifixion and death. Everything you need for the experience will be available in pre-packaged gift bags that will be prepared days in advance for your safety. A beautiful printed guide included in the bag will include instructions and lead you through the experience. Hosts will be there to answer any questions or offer assistance if needed. The bags will be available at the Welcome Table at the start of the experience.

Good Friday Online - The full experience will also be available online and on the GOTGo app beginning the morning of Good Friday, April 2nd.

The Crossroads Labyrinth will be open for self-guided walking and reflection throughout the day. Email Susan Yantis if you have any questions about the Good Friday observance.
NEW DAWN, NEW DAY, NEW LIFE
Crossroads Online Easter Celebration
Sunday, April 4th, 2021
10:00 am

Celebrate Easter as we come together online for a joyful celebration of new life, and renewed hope!
Lenten/Easter Offering
With the Easter season comes the opportunity to participate in our Easter Offering. The Easter Offering is an opportunity to share over and above our regular giving and it specifically supports two important ministry areas, SERVE and the Capital Fund. The Capital Fund is how we keep our facility well maintained and in good repair. SERVE ministries are active throughout the entire year.

The Easter Offering goal this year is $65,000. With your support, this essential goal is both reasonable and reachable. Thank you for expressing your love for God and others through the practice of giving.

You can help reach our Easter offering goal by giving online, through the GOTGo app, or mailing in your contributions. More information can be found here.
We Need Your Help to Share the Joy of Easter!
We are creating a welcome video for our Easter Worship Celebration. Please send us pictures or videos of you and/or your family and friends sharing a Happy Easter message. Deadline is midnight tonight!

Please send them to Kim Gresko.
Palm Sunday
Yesterday, Palm Sunday, we entered the final days of Lent. Pastor Larry reminded us that as we head into the events of Holy Week, we begin to see that our ability to forgive ourselves and others is the foundation that can transform infirmities and allow us to move on.

If you missed yesterday's service, you can watch it here.

Small Group Reflection Guide
We designed a special small group reflection guide for Sunday's message. If you are not part of a small group, you can share these reflections with a friend, do them as a couple, or as a family with older children and teens. Or you can spend time going through the reflections by yourself.

To get connected to a small group, email Deborah Michel.
Women's Bible Study
New study starts Tuesday, April 13th
9:30 - 11:00am via Zoom

Deepening Life Together: The Book of Acts. Join us as we follow the journey of the first Christians who spread the gospel throughout the world after the resurrection of Jesus. We'll see how God used ordinary men and women to do the extraordinary. Contact Jeri Bennett for more info and to make arrangements to pick up the workbook

Please register here to receive the Zoom link for this group.
SERVE Opportunity
Since the beginning of 2021 and throughout Lent, Crossroads’ SERVE focus will continue to be on food insecurity. Collecting for the Round Hill food pantry is ongoing and very much appreciated by our neighbors in Western Loudoun County. For details on how you can help, click here.
During Lent, we are once again providing School Break Bundles for needy families at Payne Elementary in Southeast DC and our ESL families Loudoun County. By providing the food items listed here, or donating $30.00 to School Break Bundles, you will be helping those students at risk of going without food during Spring Break. Our goal is to provide 80 Bundles. Food Items can be dropped off at Crossroads Entrance 1 anytime during the week on or before April 11th. Monetary donations should be marked School Break Bundles and can be made online or mailed to Crossroads. To find out how you can get involved, contact Kathy MacKrell.
.
Crossroads Kids are extending their love and assistance even further. By collecting change during Lent, they will be supporting children and families in Guatemala and Uganda. The banks for the coins can be found in the Children’s Lenten Bags. The bags can be picked up at Crossroads Entrance 1 any time. For details contact Jill Wiggins.
