Parents can voice how they want the Eugene 4j School District to utilize the Student Success Act funds. The funds will help improve education outcomes for marginalized student populations, including students of color, student with disabilities, bilingual students and students navigating poverty, foster care or homelessness. Take the online survey by Jan. 7.

January is School Choice season in the Eugene 4j and Springfield School Districts.
On Jan. 20 and 22, The Arc Lane County will partner with Two Rivers-Dos Ríos Elementary School in Springfield to assemble 500 sack lunches for people in the community who face food insecurity. Volunteers are needed on both days. Sign up online to lend a helping hand on either day.
STUDENTS INVITED TO PARTICIPATE IN LEAFS EVENT
The Oregon State University Adaptive Technology Engineering Network invites high school and middle school students with disabilities to participate in the second annual Leading and Enabling Adolescent Futures in STEM (LEAFS) event. Participants will engage in four hands-on projects on January 18 and 25
that will expand knowledge of different STEM fields and show that a career in STEM is attainable.

The Arc Lane County is now accepting nominations for its Annual Banquet on March 12 where the agency will honor individuals and businesses in the community who work to improve the lives of people who experience disabilities.
