As you prep for the start of the Spring 2024 semester on January 16, review our Start of Semester Guide for guidance in setting up your course.

Consider participating in "Introduction to Quality Matters", an online, asynchronous course that runs for a one-week period between January 16 and January 23. Registration ends January 9 at Noon.

ISU Annual Student-Centered Learning Workshop (AY23-24) Online Offerings

We are hosting university-wide online synchronous offerings of the ISU Annual Student-Centered Learning Workshop (AY23-24) for faculty unable to attend their departmental one. To register, pick the date that works best for you and fill out the Zoom form that matches it:

New for 2024

CELT Excellence in the Scholarship

of Teaching and Learning (SoTL) Award

Open to all Iowa State faculty members (both term and tenure-track) or P&S employees with teaching appointments who meet the following requirements:

Attended one CELT-sponsored workshop/program in the last two years.
Iowa State employees at the time of the CELT Celebration (April 2024).
Nominations from colleagues, department chairs/supervisors, and self-nominations are welcome and encouraged.

Successful awardees will receive a $1,500 one-time stipend and be recognized at the CELT Celebration on April 4, 2024. Submit your nomination by January 19, 2024.
