Morning Access presented by Buckeye Broadband

February 7, 2025 | 7:30 a.m. - 9:00 a.m. | The Toledo Club

Because access matters, this morning event is an opportunity for Chamber members to meet and network with the region’s elected officials from various communities and offices in Lucas, Wood, and Fulton counties. The networking-only, "no-speeches" format provides a great opportunity for Chamber members to ask questions and seek answers from the invited elected officials.

Don't Give Up on Those New Year's Resolutions Already

Did you know that the second Friday in January (which was last Friday) is known as "quitters day"? It is the day that most people have already abandoned their New Year's Resolutions.

Here at the Toledo Regional Chamber of Commerce, we can help you stay the course in 2025, whether your business goals include expanding your network, improving your leadership, staying on top of legislative issues, and much more!

If one of your goals is to take control of your financial literacy and make more informed decisions for your business in 2025, check out the How to Read a Financial Statement course through the TRCC Center for Training & Development. Perfect for non-financial managers and emerging leaders.

Congratulations Ebony!

Ebony Carter, Vice President of Minority Business Services and Director of the Minority Business Assistance Center is one of 8 women being honored at the YWCA’s 2025 Milestones Awards on March 27th. Ebony is being recognized in the “Woman on the Rise” category. This honor is given to a woman who is making an impact in the community early in her career while also developing her potential to become a transformative leader in our community.

Area Office on Aging Survey

As part of our ongoing Talent Attraction and Retention efforts, we invite you to participate in the Area Office on Aging's survey focused on understanding the experiences, contributions, and challenges of adult 60+workers within your organization.

As the workforce continues to age, it is crucial to gain insights into how we can better support and leverage the skills and knowledge of our older employees.

This survey aims to:

  • Assess the current work environment for adult 60+ workers.
  • Identify areas for improvement in practices.
  • Highlight the unique strengths and contributions of older employees.
  • Gather feedback on how we can enhance job satisfaction and productivity for this demographic.

Your participation is invaluable and will help create a more inclusive and supportive workplace for all employees. The survey is anonymous, and your responses will be kept confidential.

Thank you for your time and input.
