Giving is Good for the Giver!

During the holiday season, we are reminded to be kind and considerate of those around us. That might involve thoughtful gift giving. Our friends at the Greater Good Science Center at Berkeley remind us that gift giving can be good for you.
When you give freely:
  1. You FEEL Happy.
  2. You may see improved PHYSICAL HEALTH.
  3. You'll promote COOPERATION and social CONNECTION.
  4. You actually feel more GRATEFUL.
  5. It is CONTAGIOUS, so others will start to give too.
