Start the Semester Strong with Skate4Concrete!

Hi Keaveny,

We hope you had a wonderful winter break and that your semester is off to a great start! As you dive into your lesson plans, we’d like to share an exciting opportunity to bring hands-on learning and career exploration into your classroom with Skate4Concrete.

This free curriculum introduces students to the concrete industry through project-based learning, combining math, science, engineering and teamwork to teach practical skills. Students will also earn a Concrete Certification to jumpstart their careers. Plus, schools participating in the curriculum are eligible to enter the Statewide Mini Skatepark Competition, where students can showcase their creativity and skills while competing for top honors! The competition will be held on April 11th, 2025 at MTSU's campus.

We’re also working to connect you and your students with local TCA member companies in your area. These connections can open doors to real career opportunities for your students and build lasting partnerships between schools and the concrete industry.

Sign up today to receive the curriculum, a free mini skatepark kit and resources to bring this exciting program to life in your classroom. Let’s inspire the next generation of concrete professionals together!
