In case you missed it.....

Our families, donors and volunteers saw us through a unique and challenging year. 2020 brought us so many changes but here at The Giving Tree, we saw so much good and giving. For that... we are grateful. In case you missed our report for 2020... check it out below:
MLK Sock Roll Challenge
Update


A big shout out to all of the participants of our 5th Annual MLK Sock Roll Challenge! Clubs, groups, neighborhoods, families and students from various schools all came together to assemble sock rolls for the 2021 Challenge!

Again... things looked a little different this year. But WOW... everyone has really come through! So far... over 5,500 homeless individuals lives have been touched in the month of January from sock rolls alone! There is more to come! Thank you for being a part of it all!
Virtual Workshop Series

We kicked off our Kindness Korner Virtual Series last month with our MLK Day workshop. 25 students joined us via Zoom for a wonderful discussion and hands-on activity.


Thursday February 25 - 4:30 PM

Join us for our next Virtual Workshop Thursday February 25th at 4:30 PM. This discussion and project will focus on the elderly community. $25 includes a complete Take-Home Service Kit as well as the Zoom link for the discussion. Click below with questions or to sign up for the workshop.
#MontcoServes Campaign

We are thrilled to announce that our #MontcoServes campaign is in full swing! Three Montgomery County schools have already taken part in the program.

The mission of #MontcoServes is to reach students in 123 schools (elementary & middle) in Montgomery County PA with service projects. We are seeking corporate and individual sponsorships. Help us reach our goal today!

National Canned Food Month
 
Food Pantries tend to get flooded with food donations between Thanksgiving and Christmas, but by February... the shelves tend to get a little sparse. 

Celebrate this month by checking the wish list of your local food pantry. Pick up some canned foods and make a delivery as a family. #nationalcannedfoodmonth
