Clean water for God's thirsty children
Celebrating All Mothers, Especially Those Who Provide Clean Water for God’s Thirsty Children

It’s been a tough year for everyone. And for many mothers around the world, it has been especially hard – not seeing their children face-to-face, or in some cases not seeing them at all. Many mothers have seen their children sick, out of work, or in isolation.

At the same time, many of us have missed our mothers, perhaps not visiting because we didn’t want to make them sick, or couldn’t enter the places they live.

It’s all been so unhealthy in so many ways. But even though many restrictions remain in place, it seems that our spirits are lifting and Spring has brought feelings of hope. People are breathing a little easier.

So let’s celebrate Mothers!

With the help of our great friends at Kroger and Nanz & Kraft Florists, you can brighten your Mom’s day while sharing the gift of clean water with God’s thirsty children. By clicking the link below, you can sponsor a Water Woman (or more than one) and receive a gift card toward the purchase of a Mother’s Day gift.

The virus, hurricanes, political upheaval – it’s been an especially tough year in the areas Water With Blessings serves. Here is a chance to help more mothers become Water Women. Thank you.
An Urgent Invitation from Sr. Larraine:
Please Join Us in Prayer for Haiti

As you may have heard or seen in recent news reports, the general situation in Haiti has become very dangerous. Among other developments, we are deeply concerned about the recent kidnappings of faith leaders. This is an unprecedented turn of events, signaling the desperate situation Haitians are experiencing right now.

Members of our staff suggested that we invite our Community in Mission to join us in a Day of Prayer for Haiti. I enthusiastically agreed, because at WWB we truly believe in the power of prayer.

Our Day of Prayer for Haiti will be this coming Wednesday April 21. From Noon-1 pm ET, we will host a special Virtual Chapel: Light a Candle for Haiti, on Zoom. Participants from Haiti will be present with us for the hour of prayer, which will include both spoken and silent prayer time. Participants may enter and leave at their leisure, and need not be present for the entire hour.

To sign up for Virtual Chapel: Light a Candle for Haiti, please send a request for the zoom link to If you can't join us for the virtual chapel, we would love an email just to let us know that you are praying with us. If you are in the Louisville area, and would like to join us during the day in our actual WWB chapel (in our new headquarters), please let us know! We can only accommodate two visitors per hour, so please do let Debbie know if you want to sign up for that.
Our Re-Scheduled Grand Opening is Coming Soon

The Water With Blessings Grand Opening, Dedication, and Ribbon-Cutting is now scheduled for Friday, May 7. Join us for a grand celebration, with food and ice cream for sale, a chance to tie-dye a shirt, and tours of our new offices and warehouse.

Because we're still trying to be careful and observe the protocols, we ask that you make a reservation if you would like a tour. Please send a request via email to

We will have more information next week, so stay tuned...
All around the world, mothers are waiting for the chance

If you are part of the Water With Blessings Community for Mission, you’ve already stopped taking clean water for granted. You know how blessed we are to turn on the tap and hold out a glass without worry.

The Sawyer PointONE filters and five-gallon buckets provided to mothers around the world have given them that same secure feeling. The clean water is flowing to their own and three other families.

But many more mothers are hoping and praying for that same opportunity. Because of your commitment, your prayerful, sacrificial gifts, we continue to respond to their requests.

Thank you again for your support. And please do us one more favor: share the Water With Blessings story with your relatives and friends. Give them a chance to change lives.
Meet Mirlande, Who Serves As a Water Woman in Haiti
Mirlande lives on the small island of La Gonâve, not far from the capital city Port-Au-Prince. During times of unrest, our country team has been able to work there in relative safety.

She is one of the thousands of Water Women you have supported on La Gonâve. Were only 1,800 Water Women short of full saturation on the island. When that happens, every child there will have access to clean water.
On This Week’s Coffee Chat: Updates All Around
We’re still in the spirit of Easter, refreshed and renewed and looking with hope at what lies ahead. We will provide updates on the plans for our Grand Opening, our Mother’s Day initiatives, and our work in Haiti, Honduras, and other places around the globe.

So let’s all grab some coffee (or whatever you prefer) and gather around our screens for some fellowship, some laughs, and some prayer. Remember that even though there are many challenges facing our teams and the women they serve, they’re always out there praying for us. Let’s pray for them in return.

Remember, it all happens this coming Friday, April 23, at Noon eastern time. We hope to see you then.
If you have some time and some yarn, we’re still looking for more filter covers...

One of our great blessings is the number of clever, creative crafters who make these wonderful filter socks for our Water Women around the world. The bright, joyful colors complement the spirits of these mothers, who share the gift of health and life with those around them.

Our supply is still too low, so please consider helping us. If you’re new to this, you can click on the button below and find all the information you need.

As we approach Mother’s Day, this is just one more way to celebrate Moms around the world. Thank you for your help.
We believe every child should be drinking clean water. Are you with us?
