It is human nature to do those things that make us feel good and avoid those things that cause us pain.  If we have an employee who is doing well, we reward him or her with praise, a raise or a promotion.  If we are that employee, we appreciated the recognition and tend to work even harder.

Why then, does our society seem to reward everyone else while penalizing those who work hard and succeed.  We have made the benefits of unemployment so lucrative, it is a better deal to stay unemployed.  We blame others for our own bad decisions.  We discourage the family unit and punish parents who discipline their children.  We tell the successful they are greedy, owe their success to someone else, and try to tax them to death.

It is time to turn it around.  Let's get back to rewarding success.  Let's make it, once again, something everyone strives for.  We will all be winners!!!
