It is the political season.  The gloves are off.  The politicians seem to be able to say anything they want whether it is true or not and we are expected to believe them.  Even if we don't, it's no big deal as they expect us to vote for them anyway.

  

How about doing the right thing just because it is the right thing to do.  Tell the truth because it is true.  My experience is that I look up to and support a leader who is honest, admits his or her mistakes and treats people fairly.

   

Telling the truth is also so much easier as I don't have to remember which lie I told to whom.

   

Be honest and fair in your dealings with others.  Do the right things even when no one is watching.
