Good Morning,
It has been said that Thomas Edison tried 1000 different filaments before he came up with one that was durable and commercially feasible.
That take perseverance, dedication and a true belief in the possibilities. Most of us probably won't need to keep trying that much to be successful but we will be faced with situations where we get frustrated and want to give up. Many actually do.
If we truly believe in the possibilities and what we are doing, we need to keep working at it. We may change methods, techniques and approaches be we continue toward the goal. This applies to engineering, business and even sales situations. No, it doesn't mean beating a dead horse. We can sense when there is no way and when things are not happening on our timetable.
If you believe in it, hang in there and persevere. Remember why you are doing it in the first place. You will be surprised how close you are to succeeding.
