Playing it safe is highly overrated.  It involves doing only what we have done successfully before.  Trying something new is out of the question.  

It is unfortunate that too many of us will not take a risk.  No, I don't mean doing something extremely dangerous or something no one has done before. I'm talking stepping out of our comfort zone and trying something new.  Life is made up of experiences.  The more different experiences we have the more we grow.

Think of all of the things you would like to do, even if they are a little scary.  Don't dwell on why you can't do them.  Think, rather, about how you can make them happen and then, take action.  The rewards will amaze you, no matter your age or station in life.
