"You are capable of great things" is a sign on the wall in one of the classrooms at Indian River State College where I teach part time. I love the message.
With all of that capability, why is it, we seem to be living in a world where everyone is making excuses and blaming others. Maybe they are afraid of failing. Maybe they don't want to offend someone. Maybe they really don't believe they are capable. I'm sure they have their reasons and really believe them.
That's ok, we don't have to be that way. The more excuse makers, the better our opportunity to accomplish. While others are making excuses as to why is can't or shouldn't be done, we are doing. Look at all of the wonderful inventions we use and enjoy every day. Can you imagine where the world would be if those who made it happen, instead, pointed fingers and blamed others. Wow!!
Be the doer, the one who makes things happen. Be proud, not ashamed.
