The road of life is filled with obstacles and roadblocks. This discussion deals with how we choose to deal with them. In life, we have choices, more than many of us can imagine. We are not, totally, at the mercy of others.
Many people choose to give up, back down and quit, blaming others for the end results. Others follow the path of least resistance and go along with the crowd whether they agree or not.
The much smaller group analyzes the problem, looks for solutions, chooses the best one, and then implements it, proceeding on down the road as planned. These are the successful people who see an obstacle, not as an impenetrable brick wall but an opportunity and challenge to be overcome. For these people, it became, not a roadblock but a bump in the road.
We each need to determine which person we are and ask ourselves, is this the person I wish to be? If not, try the latter. Instead of backing down, look for solutions, choose one and act on it. We will truly be amazed.
