Good Morning,
Persistence is defined as a firm or obstinate continuance in a course of action in spite of difficulty or opposition.
The picture in the background of this week’s quote is the Grand Canyon with the Colorado River flowing through it. To me, this picture represents the persistence of the river which has been working at creating the canyon for what most historians estimate is more than 10 million years. Talk about persistent, it is still not done yet even though it is over 6 thousand feet deep already.
Today’s message is if you believe in something and want it to happen, don’t quit when things get tough. Keep at it. You may have to change your tactics, slow down your efforts or even put them on hold waiting for the right time or the right group of people to, once again, pursue. If it is important, don’t quit. Persevere. Remember, “Winners never quit and quitters never win.
Happy Monday,
Jim
