Coming Soon: D181 Unplugged
From February 11-15, all District 181 schools will be participating in “D181 Unplugged,” a week-long initiative aimed at reducing screen time at school and at home. We ask children to pledge to spend those five days with minimized or no screen time, and we ask parents to lead by example and do the same!
We hope that as students “unplug” from their devices that they feel a deeper connection to the world around them and are proud of their achievement. Screen-free fun ideas and a calendar of events for families to enjoy will be distributed in classrooms, along with a student pledge. We hope this week brings increased awareness to screen usage and creates fun memories for families!
