Georgia Milestones Results Show Strong Performance
in 2022-2023 School Year
|
Recent assessment results reveal an impressive performance by state charter schools in Georgia. The Georgia Milestones Assessment System is designed to measure student content mastery in core subject areas. Milestones data from the 2022-2023 school year show that, on average, state charter school students have recovered to near or above pre-pandemic performance levels. Additionally, 59% of state charter schools serving elementary, 53% serving middle, and 55% serving high school grades outperformed their local district on the End of Grade and End of Course exams. The strong performance by state charter schools underscores their resilience and commitment to high-quality education, even amid the challenges of the pandemic. More information on the achievements of state charter schools can be found on the SCSC website. | | |
