March 2021: Volume 4, Issue 1

Our Mission: To provide merit-based, innovative workforce solutions which enable state government to attract, develop and retain a productive, diverse and engaged workforce that excels in delivering quality services to the citizens of Louisiana.
"It's been a year. One year since the Governor issued a State of Emergency. This virus has impacted us all professionally and personally. As you reflect on the past year, my wish is that you would take an account of where you are personally in your work life - if you are functioning well, celebrate that. If you feel that things are in disarray, embrace it. Every day is a journey at work and we have to know where we're starting to get where we want to go. Things are looking hopeful, so I want us all to remain positive and reflect this week on the year that we've had. We've had a lot of tragedy, but I believe we've also had a lot of personal growth as a community and as a state."

State Civil Service Director, Byron P. Decoteau, Jr.
addressing the HR Community on 3/10/2021
We are so thankful for the dedicated state employees, from every state agency and department, who have worked diligently for Louisiana's citizens over the last year.

You truly have served #EveryDayForEveryCitizen.
