Dear Superintendents and School Leaders,
As you know, the Jan. 14 the
California Department of Public Health (CDPH) order requires every local educational agency (school district, county office of education, and charter school) and private school to submit data about how student instruction is provided. Specifically, it requires all LEAs and private schools to report whether:
- In-person instruction is being provided full-time;
- In-person is provided only part-time (hybrid model);
- In-person instruction and services are provided only pursuant to the Guidance Related to Cohorts issued by the CDPH; or
- No in-person instruction and services are provided (distance learning only).
The California Department of Public Health has partnered with the California Collaborative for Educational Excellence (CCEE) to support the data collection process to host a school reopening GIS map which will be available through the
Safe Schools for All Hub.
CCEE is holding a webinar today at 1 p.m. to review the registration and submission process for any interested parties. You can register for the webinar
here.
We understand this is short notice. When CCEE makes available the slides and recording of today's webinar, we will share it with you.
NEXT STEPS
