Greetings Shooters!

The 109th Florida State Shoot has officially wrapped up, and I'm thrilled to announce it was one of the most successful tournaments in recent history. With a total increase of 318 entries — representing a remarkable 10% growth from the previous year — this year’s shoot set a new standard and reaffirmed Florida’s position as a premier destination for competitive shooting.

From start to finish, the energy and enthusiasm throughout the week were palpable. Shooters from across the country gathered to test their skills, compete at the highest level, and enjoy the camaraderie that makes our sport so special. Whether seasoned veterans or first-time participants, every competitor played a role in making this year’s shoot a truly memorable one.

Please celebrate our winners!

109th State Shoot Results

This tournament would not have been possible without the dedication of a small group of volunteers, who's efforts provided a great experience for the competitors, and prevented me from losing my mind! Please join me in thanking them for their efforts: Scarlett Ehlers, Scot "Goofy Games" Lauderback, Bill & Alberta Brooks, Mike & Denise Reynolds, Charlene Muzzey, "Chef" Paul Becker, Don Kerce, Lewis Knack, Brent Miller, Dan Brandreth, Dave Dressler, Ray Lee, and Dan Boisclair. If I missed someone, please accept my apologies!

A special thank-you goes to the the Silver Dollar and their hardworking employees. Bill Miller, Diane Foster, Laura Hohman and the Singing Ladies, Target Setters, Loaders, Scorekeepers, Runners and Hustlers, and everyone else, thank you! Your efforts behind the scenes did not go unnoticed. You are the backbone of our shoot, and we sincerely appreciate all you do.

I want to extend my deepest gratitude to our sponsors. Your generous support allows us to continually improve the quality of the shoot, provide great prizes, and create an outstanding experience for all involved. We are proud to partner with individuals and organizations that share our passion for growing the sport.

Looking ahead, we’re already excited to start planning for the 110th Florida State Shoot. With the momentum and enthusiasm built from this year, we’re confident the best is still to come. Until then, thank you once again to everyone who helped make the 109th edition such a resounding success.

We’ll see you on the line next year!
