ORGANIZATIONS INTERESTED IN DONATIONS OF FEDERAL SURPLUS PROPERTY - Public agencies and many nonprofits are eligible for our Federal Surplus Property Program. Items are offered for donation for a small service charge. For more information, visit our website or email us at federal.surplus@tfc.state.tx.us . Who is eligible? Public agencies (i.e. state agencies, municipalities, counties, special purpose districts and public schools); Nonprofit education organizations (i.e.private schools, museums/zoos, libraries); Nonprofit health organizations (i.e.clinics, hospitals, child care, foster/adoption services); Nonprofit programs for the impoverished, homeless, or elderly; Service Educational Activities (i.e.Boy & Girl Scouts, JROTC); Veterans Service Organizations (recognized by the Dept. of Veterans Affairs); and SBA 8(a) certified companies.
