City has options

that might include

denial of application

for Turquoise Tower

The receipt by the City of San Diego of “technical guidance” from the California Department of Housing and Community Development (HCD) represents a key step in the approval / denial process. The guidance indicates San Diego has options that include asking for more information from the developer, which could potentially lead to the denial of the project.

Happy holiday wishes

We wish you a Merry Christmas and happy New Year. This likely will be our last eNewsletter of the year and will get back in touch in 2025.

Meanwhile, we urge you to keep in touch with your elected officials. Mayor Todd Gloria and District 1 Councilmember/Council President Joe LaCava have worked to hear the wishes of residents opposed to a 23-story tower being built in Pacific Beach. Ask them to keep working for us.

Peace and good health to all. We wished earlier this week for the tower to be rejected. Santa didn't exactly bring that, but he came close. Let's keep up the fight. Thanks.
