Yesterday I attended Mayor Carter’s State of the City event, held at the beautiful new North End Community Center. The room was full, and we were warmly welcomed by children from a nearby school – a meaningful reminder of why our work matters. City Council President Rebecca Noecker opened the event by outlining the Council’s 5 priorities: more housing at all income levels, economic development to grow the tax base, climate action, fiscal resilience, and public safety.


Mayor Carter followed with his signature eloquence, reaffirming that “public safety is our uncontested top priority.” The numbers tell a hopeful story ...

Do you have old documents you no longer need? Royal Credit Union will be hosting shred events at several Royal offices. Shred events are an opportunity for Members and the general public to properly dispose of their personal documents and files for free. Royal partners with the document management and destruction companies to safely dispose of documents. Attendees can bring their shred into the office during regular lobby hours and place their shred into secured bins. A limit of two brown paper grocery bags or one file-sized box will be enforced to ensure everyone has a chance to shred their most critical documents. This spring, the nation's longest-running art crawl returns to Union Depot. The Saint Paul Art Crawl will feature dozens of local artisans, including photographers, jewelry designers, painters, and more, with unique items available for purchase. It's an excellent opportunity to connect with and support local artists. Produced by the Saint Paul Art Collective, the event is held twice a year and draws up to 20,000 visitors annually.
