From the depths, we call to You, Eternal God: God, hear our voice, be attentive to our plea (cf. Ps 130).
We mourn the massive loss of life, grave injuries, and kidnappings that Hamas terrorists perpetrated in southern Israel on October 7. We join in solidarity with our many colleagues, friends, and dialogue partners who grieve for their own loved ones and the loved ones of their friends; and we join in their prayers for the swift release of the captives. As a center dedicated to countering antisemitism, we condemn all rhetoric that would blame innocent civilians for the violence inflicted upon them. We pray that God guides the Israeli and Palestinian leaders in discerning the path towards a just and lasting peace.
