Online Grant Management Systems
During the November 20th SWGMG meeting the main discussion was centered around online grant management systems. There are significant changes to our path forward in implementing a statewide grant management system.

Please see the slide deck for detailed information on recent developments. We will continue to communicate next steps, including any software demonstrations, information requested or meetings, to the group as they become finalized. If you are currently using an online grant management system, please reach out to Stacey Alles - stacey.alles@state.co.us , so we can capture general information regarding the system.

Grant Accounting 101
Call for Volunteers!

We will be developing a Grant Accounting 101 training module and we need your help! If you have expertise in accounting, grant accounting, or grant budgeting please consider joining a work group to develop a training module.

The work group will begin meeting in January. If interested please email Stacey Alles - stacey.alles @ state.co.us or Gina Salazar - gina.salazar@state.co.us.
The OSC Grants Unit will be sending out a short online survey in the coming days. The survey will help us prioritize presentation topics, training opportunities and grant management discussions for the 2020 calendar year.

Grant Manager 101 Training
There is still time to register for one of the upcoming Grant Manager 101 training sessions! There are spots available at each training, including the full day session next Monday.

Full day sessions: Monday, November 25th from 8:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. at CDPS Headquarters (710 Kipling Street, Lakewood) or Tuesday, December 17th from 8:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. at DPA Headquarters (1525 Sherman Street, Denver).

Two half-day sessions:  Tuesday, January 14th and Wednesday, January 15th 8:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. at CDPS Headquarters (710 Kipling Street, Lakewood).

Training is  FREE  and intended for new grant managers or those looking for a refresher course on basic grant management roles, responsibilities, and best practices.

If you are unable to attend this session or would like to schedule dedicated training for your agency, contact us for more information.
