Join our annual

Statewide Leadership Book Study!

We are excited to begin registration for our annual Statewide Leadership Book Study! This will be our fifth statewide leadership book study and we are so excited to see our friends from around the state again this winter/spring.

This year we are reading "Learning to Lead: Effective Leadership Skills for Teachers of Young Children," by Debra Ren-Etta Sullivan. Regardless of your role or level, we all have leadership potential and skills. Learning to Lead  will help us know how to cultivate the leader inside of us by defining leadership, exploring different styles and functions of leadership, and navigate leadership situations.

What would you be signing up for?

Each participant will receive a book, follow a reading schedule, and meet with the same group for the next 3 months to discuss our learning.

What would be expected of me?

Participants will read a chapter a week, and meet with their group every other week to discuss the reading.

We will begin the book study with a kickoff meeting on Tuesday, January 23 from 7-8pm.

Groups will begin meeting the week of February 5 and final meetings will be held the week of April 29.
