2024 Saskatchewan Seed Survey Interim Results

Per cent germination levels were documented during the 2024 provincial seed survey with interim results showing similar results to 2023, with mean germination in barley slightly lower than previous. While Fusarium graminearum was detected in 22% of barley samples, only 2% of samples submitted reported a detectable level of total Fusarium spp.
