Join Us for Minority Business Opportunity Week
The Georgia Minority Supplier Development Council, in partnership with the State of Georgia and area cities and counties, will commemorate the annual observance of Minority Business Opportunity Week (MBOW) on September 19 – 23, 2022. MBOW is a weeklong recognition of the rich history, singular achievements, and many contributions of the minority business community to the state’s economy.
During this week, the GMSDC will host a series of events and activities designed to bring the business community together and spur business opportunities. The GMSDC has curated a limited quantity of MBE boxes showcasing a variety of high-quality goods and services available from Georgia MBEs. The week will include announcements of the launch of GMDC’s Let Talk Small Business Podcast, One Percent Pledge Initiative and the Georgia Hispanic Chamber of Commerce Memorandum of Understanding Signing.

Input Needed - Small Business Credit Survey
Small businesses are critical to the US economy. But data on small businesses is limited—especially data on how and why small businesses seek financing. Through the annual Small Business Credit Survey (SBCS), the Federal Reserve Banks capture one-of-a-kind data on small businesses. By taking the survey, small business owners contribute to data that directly informs the Fed, federal government agencies, service providers, policymakers, and others—ultimately benefitting their business and other businesses like theirs.
The survey takes 10 minutes to complete and is open to for-profit businesses with fewer than 500 employees. Responses are confidential, and small business owners do not need to provide any personal information. The survey closes on Friday, November 4 at 11:59 pm PT.
