Parish Survey
We have so far received over 700 responses to our parish survey. Thank you very much!

We are extending the deadline to April 14 if you have not yet had a chance to complete the survey.  Your input and feedback is very important to us as we engage in strategic planning for St. Mary’s Church. The survey only takes 9 minutes to complete and all questions are multiple choice. Fr. Mike asks for just 9 minutes of your time to provide us with your response. Thank you for your participation in this important effort!

Divorce Ministry
Are you or a friend or family member experiencing the stress of a divorce?

Our parish is currently gauging the need and interest in offering a Divorce Support Group in the New Year to provide a sensitive and safe setting to find emotional, social, and spiritual support; to better cope, find hope, heal, and rebuild and move forward in life.
To ask questions or express interest (all confidential) contact Chris Jenkins, LCSW, at the Parish Offices - or 804-740-4044 x116.
Spring Bible Studies
Catholicism: The Pivotal Players

We continue with the two latest episodes in this series, Saint Ignatius of Loyola and Bartolomé de las Casas. During the 4-week study of these influential men, we will learn how they shaped the life of the Church and changed the course of civilization.

We will begin this study on Thursday, April 15th, and will meet via Zoom. You may choose to meet either at 10:30 a.m. or 7 p.m.

Eucharist: Sacred Meal, Sacrifice, Real Presence

Take a deeper look at the “source and summit” of our faith, the Eucharist. In this 4-week study, Bishop Robert Barron will bring to light the Blessed Sacrament’s reality as a sacred meal, the sacrifice necessary for communion with God, and most importantly, as the Real Presence of Christ, and will offer inspiring insights into the mystery of Christ's presence in our lives and the centrality of the Eucharist.

We will begin this study on Tuesday, April 13th, and will meet via Zoom. You may choose to meet either at 10:30 a.m. or 7 p.m.

Women's Book Club
Our April selection will be The Vanishing Half by Brit Bennet. This New York Times bestselling novel tells the story of identical twins, inseparable in their youth, until running away from home at age 16. Separated by many miles (and lies), their fates remain intertwined. This riveting family story explores race, gender, and identity, and the lasting influence that the past has in shaping our desires and expectations in the future. Zoom meetings will be offered April 14 at 7:00 pm and repeated April 16 at 10:30 am.

Contact Teresa Lee to register.
