Parent’s Rights: An Overview of Special Education Evaluations

Navigating special education can feel overwhelming, especially if it’s new to your family. This quick guide explains the basics, your child’s rights, and important protections in the process. Remember, the school must get your permission before evaluating your child, and choosing special education services is always your decision. Click here to learn more.

Understanding Least Restrictive Environment (LRE)

The least restrictive environment, or LRE, is a key part of your child’s individualized education program (IEP). It helps decide where your child learns, how services are provided, and the relationships they build at school. LRE is essential for supporting your child’s success in school and beyond. Learn more here.

Understanding the Autism Supplement

Join us for a free statewide webinar on November 5, 2025, at 12:15 p.m. (CT).
