$1,500 Grants for Families Through the Parent-Directed Special Education Services (PDSES) Program

More than 200,000 students across Texas have benefited from the Parent-Directed Special Education Services (PDSES) program, which provides eligible families a $1,500 online account to purchase educational items—such as books, computers, and sensory tools—as well as services like tutoring or therapy. Join SPEDTex and the PDSES program coordinators for a free webinar on January 21, 2026, at 12:15 p.m. CST. This session will give an overview of the program, walk parents through the application process, introduce the PDSES online marketplace, and answer some of the most frequently asked questions from families.
