Plant the Right Tree in the Right Place

Trees beautify our neighborhoods, and when planted in the right spot, can even help lower energy bills. But the wrong tree in the wrong place can be a hazard, especially to power lines.

View the Tree Planting Guide for more detailed information.
Do you know someone committed to the community and always available to lend a helping hand? Nominate them for Oakdale Electric Cooperative's Selfless Service Award for a chance at a $20 bill credit.

The Selfless Service Award Nomination Contest will be a reoccurring contest for each quarter. To be eligible, you must be an OEC member with an active account number; nominees do not have to be an OEC member. Once the award recipient is selected, the OEC member nominator of the awarded recipient will be notified and receive a $20 bill credit.
Nominations for quarter two must be submitted by 4 p.m. on June 15, 2022.
Are you looking for a way to give back to your community and neighbors?

Operation Round Up is a program that gives back to the community through members who voluntarily round up their energy bill to the nearest dollar each month. Donation average per member is approximately $6 per year.

Thanks to the generosity of our cooperative members, over $100,000 has been given back to our local communities since the program's inception in 2002.

If you know of a non-profit organization or someone in need, consider applying for Operation Round Up funds.
Next applications due June 1, 2022.
