FRA is proud to provide members with the MyFRA Q&A forum.

With the forum, FRA members can post questions, ideas and topics to discuss with other MyFRA users. This is not only a resource to find help, but a great way to stay connected with other redevelopment professionals throughout the state.

The latest forum postings include:

Do you share the same boundaries as the municipality or county that created your CRA or any other taxing authority required to contribute to the CRA?

Does anyone other than Ft. Myers offer or have a program for TIF Rebates/incentives? Can they be provided on a project by project basis without a “program?”

Does anyone know of any studies done regarding building height affecting the sustainability or growth of a town?

Congratulations to the Lake Wales Community Redevelopment Agency for winning the 2020 Planning Studies Award for a small community!

The Lake Wales CRA's project, Lake Wales Connected, brought to life a vision that was set by the Olmsted Brothers over a century ago.

With the same goals in mind to create a living and beautiful community that inspires works of art, Lake Wales CRA partnered with other community developers to contract Dover, Kohl & Partners - Town Planning to develop Lake Wales Connected. This project rekindles the Olmsteds’ vision by creating a holistic downtown vision plan and a northwest neighborhood plan.

To learn more about these efforts, please watch the Lake Wales CRA video by clicking this link or the video icon.

Additional award-winner videos along with the 2020 Best Book can be found here.
