Together around Town

Construction at the Electrical Substation on East Nevada Street


Upgrades to the PacifiCorp electrical substation on East Nevada Street began in September 2025.


As part of the ongoing work, fans powered by a generator will be operating 24/7 for the duration of the project. PacifiCorp is currently exploring sound-dampening solutions, as construction is anticipated to continue through mid-to-late December.

RecycleOn Oregon!

Ashland just made recycling history. The first RecycleOn center/bin in the U.S. is now open, making it easier to recycle tricky items and shifting costs from residents to companies that produce packaging materials. Learn more.
