A Special Message from Lee
Greetings Providence Family,

In an effort to keep our church family healthy and safe, we are suspending our Sunday worship service this week. In addition, all of our church activities (including those in the Activity Center) have been suspended until further notice.

Because we know it is important for our congregation to continue to connect and worship together, our staff will be making worship available online this Sunday morning, March 15. We will be sending a link for this event via email. It will appear in your inbox on Sunday morning in time for 10:30am worship. Simply click on the link to access the video. (We are continuing to develop our live-streaming capabilities and will communicate those plans to you as they become reality in the coming week.)

As we worship remotely, know that our ministry costs can’t be shut down. We continue to have shared responsibilities to our missions partners, our employees, our facilities, our grounds, and our service providers. Your ongoing offerings during this time are much needed and will be greatly celebrated. You can see all giving options at  www.providencebc.org/why-give .   We are grateful for your continued generosity.

Be on the lookout for ongoing communications from our ministry team. Although right now local hospital restrictions prevent our ministers from visiting church members, we want to know how we can be praying for you. Should you have an immediate need, contact 704.366.4030x147 to talk to our deacon or minister on call. In addition, we’re working on creative ways of staying in touch from a distance. This is an unexpected opportunity for us all to serve as the presence of Christ and to be a blessing to our neighbors and to our community.

When it is safe to do so again, we will reconnect with one another in person here at Providence and resume our regular ministry schedule. Between now and then, let’s do our best to keep in touch—beginning this Sunday morning online.

May the peace of Christ be with you!
