Project Update

  • Paving of the southbound travel lane has been substantially completed. LaSalle Road will be fully re-opened to two-way traffic by the end of the day on Friday, October 10th.

  • Paving of a temporary shim course along the western curbline is tentatively scheduled for Monday, October 13th. This work will not require a full lane closure, the contractor will maintain alternating traffic. Marking of the parking stalls will follow soon after.

  • Sidewalk improvements are continuing along the east side of LaSalle Road. The work includes installing soil cells, street lighting, grading sidewalks, and pouring new concrete.

  • New trees are expected to begin being planted around the end of next week.

As a reminder: During construction....

  • Businesses will remain open and accessible.
  • All crosswalks will stay open, and driveway access will be maintained.
  • To support local businesses, the Town is offering free on-street parking on LaSalle Road and Farmington Avenue through October 10th. Visitors can also find alternative parking using the WeHa Parking Finder App, and the Town Center Garage will remain open.

As construction progresses, we're working to maximize on-street parking for customers and visitors. To help, we encourage employees to use alternative parking options, including the Town Center Parking Garage, which offers reduced rates for retail and restaurant employees working in the Center.

The Town Center Garage rates are far lower than other options! The rates are $4.50 for up to an 8.5-hour shift and $7 for anything over 8.5 hours.
