Project Updates

Construction activity remains focused in Phase 2B, where crews are currently installing soil cells, completing lighting and electrical work, and curbing installation.

Looking ahead, Phase 2A construction will begin ramping up in the coming days.

Starting around July 14th, construction fencing will be installed, and access to the parking lot behind businesses in Phase 2A on LaSalle Road will be temporarily closed to both vehicles and pedestrians. During this time, the lot will remain accessible via the Farmington Avenue entrance.

We appreciate your understanding as we work to enhance the infrastructure and long-term vibrancy of the Center. Please stay tuned for future updates.

Project Look-Ahead

Construction activities continue to progress throughout the project area. Below is a summary of recent work completed and a look ahead at what’s scheduled for the coming week:

July 9th-11th (Phase 2B)

  • Installation of soil cells
  • Installation of light foundations
  • Installation of electrical conduit and hand holes
  • Curb installation from Arapahoe Road to Union Kitchen
  • Concrete pour in front of Webster Bank
  • Sidewalk grading and pouring throughout Phase 2B

July 14th-18th

Work will continue in Phase 2B with sidewalk grading and concrete pouring. Once the majority of this work is complete, Gerber Construction will begin setting up approximately 150 linear feet of construction fencing to mark the start of Phase 2A. This fencing will run from Farmington Avenue to the driveway entrance of the back parking lot on the east side of LaSalle Road.

Initial work in Phase 2A will focus on:

  • Storm drainage improvements
  • Installation of soil cells
  • Installation of electrical conduit

We recognize that this is a highly trafficked area and are committed to maintaining access wherever possible. At least four feet of pavers along the building frontages will be preserved for as long as safely feasible to support pedestrian access to local businesses.

Parking Information for Employees During Construction

As construction progresses, we're working to maximize on-street parking for customers and visitors. To help, we encourage employees to use alternative parking options, including the Town Center Parking Garage, which offers reduced rates for retail and restaurant employees working in the Center.

The Town Center Garage rates are far lower than other options! The rates are $4.50 for up to an 8.5-hour shift and $7 for anything over 8.5 hours.
