🌳✨ We're excited to announce that new street trees are coming to West Hartford Center late this fall!   🌳 Street trees play a big role in making West Hartford Center a greener, cooler, and more inviting place! They provide essential shade, improve air quality, enhance natural beauty, and help manage stormwater.  🌿 These benefits support the Town’s goal to preserve open space and create a comfortable, welcoming environment—especially on hot summer days.

CT Insider recently published an article highlighting construction progress in West Hartford Center, including ongoing work along LaSalle Road as part of a $10 million upgrade. Improvements include new sidewalks, wider pedestrian areas, and the installation of soil cells to support 52 new trees replacing 36 removed earlier this year. The project also features new street furniture and two upcoming mobility hubs to support multimodal transportation.

As construction progresses, we're working to maximize on-street parking for customers and visitors. To help, we encourage employees to use alternative parking options, including the Town Center Parking Garage, which offers reduced rates for retail and restaurant employees working in the Center.

The Town Center Garage rates are far lower than other options! The rates are $4.50 for up to an 8.5-hour shift and $7 for anything over 8.5 hours.
