Class of 2016 - On to New Heights

Congratulations to the members of the Class of 2016 who were offered

$7,499,528

in total academic, athletic scholarships, grants, etc. and were accepted to 101 different colleges and universities! List of schools.

What a year for ELCA Athletes!

5 Teams won Region or Area Championships (Football, Softball, Wrestling, Baseball, & Girls Soccer)

2 Teams had Final Four Appearances (Girls Basketball and Boys Track & Field)

1 Team was State Runner-Up (Girls Track & Field)

2 Teams won State Championships (Softball, Football)

6 Individuals won State Championships - T'aja Cameron - 100 meters, 200 meters (Both were Class A State Records); Abigail Rogers - Shot Put; Girls 4x100 Relay - Parker Pinholster, Kayland Thomason, Palmer Pinholster, T'aja Cameron; Girls 4x400 Relay - Kayland Thomason, Parker Pinholster, Ansley Goode, T'aja Cameron; Boys 4x100 Relay - Eric Motes, Justin Menard, Sean Queen, Jeffrey Uzzell

Athletic Scholarships

18 athletes signed to go on and play at the collegiate level this year.

43 ELCA alumni athletes are competing in college athletics this year; and we have 4 playing professionally. Jordan Scott playing for the Yankees organization, Jacob Heyward playing for the San Francisco Giants organization, Daz Cameron playing in the Houston Astros' organization and Phillip Brown playing for the Longueau Basketball Club in France.

New Dismissal Times for 2016-2017

Please make note of the start and dismissal times for your child's school. You may also reacquaint yourself with school hours and policies by looking over pages 19 and 20 in the Student Handbook

Early Learning Academy:

Half Days: 7:55AM - 11:45AM

Full Days: 7:55AM - 2:45PM

Kindergarten: 7:55AM - 2:45PM

First through 5th Grades: 7:55AM - 3:00PM

Middle School and High School:

7:55AM - 3:15PM except Wednesdays

Wednesdays: 7:55AM - 2:55PM
