Stay Safe and Report Flooding

Report flooding to 305.673.7625 or send photos via email to flooding@miamibeachfl.gov.

Our city experienced heavy rainfall and strong winds overnight combined with higher-than-normal tides, and various areas have been affected by flooding. The National Weather Service has issued a High Wind Warning for Coastal Miami-Dade County until 1 p.m. this afternoon.

If you come across any debris or flooding that obstructs access to public or private property, please call 305.673.7625, report it through the Miami Beach e-Gov app or email flooding@miamibeachfl.gov

Our Public Works team is out in the community responding to reports of flooding as quickly as possible and removing debris from streets and sidewalks. Residents should still exercise caution when leaving their home. In addition to our existing stormwater infrastructure, which includes 48 permanent pump stations, Public Works has temporary pump stations deployed in low-lying areas. Learn more about why extreme rain events cause flooding and how rainfall drains through our pump systems.

Power Outages

60,000+ households are without power in Miami-Dade County, and many areas throughout our city are experiencing power outages. Some traffic signals may be affected. Please use caution when driving, walking or biking. Avoid standing water and treat intersections as an all-way-stop if traffic signals are out.

Parking Flood Relief Program Activated

The Parking Flood Relief Program, which provides free temporary parking accommodations, has been activated. Residents registered for the program should have received an email with details about their assigned parking location.

Beach Conditions

There is a high surf advisory and swimming is not recommended due to the risk of rip currents. Current beach conditions are always available at miamibeachfl.gov/beachconditions.
