Join us for an online conversation about Environmental Justice (EJ) led by our Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Justice Committee.

We’ll talk about how we define environmental justice, its impact on Philadelphia communities, and equity and environmental justice issues initiatives in our city. Share your ideas and recommendations for addressing EJ issues, and how we can get to your vision of a healthy community.

Tracking Pollution in the Delaware Basin: Tools for Community Action
Tuesday, January 31, 10am-11am
Introducing River Network’s new resource to track common sources of pollution and tools for community action in the Delaware Basin! Learn about tools and programs to help you and your volunteers identify pollution sources – including combined sewer overflows, improperly maintained construction sites, road salt, and flooding – and take action. Learn about how groups in the Delaware and throughout the country have created innovative programs to combat these threats to water quality health.
Featuring our own Ryan Neuman, Upstream Conservation Leader and Dave Bell, TTF volunteer, sharing their monitoring experiences, reporting on failing construction site pollution controls and notifying local decision-makers on excessive road salt application and implications for local streams.
